Solar System Books
I started working on a leveled reader for our solar system unit. It is like the crowning glory to add readers! Each lesson will have a science activity, a writing connection, and a reader that supports the learning concept of the science activity. Now, the idea is to write these readers so that they are supporting the learning, at the right reading level, not watered down, and are exciting to children. What a tall order! I miss Blanche. I can't wait for her return from Hawaii. Sorry, Blanchie. I know you would like to stay forever but I need you.
