A new low!

Just when I was over all the extra work teachers do without pay, I was confronted with a all time new low. We have two teachers at our school who are not exactly the principals favorite people. In fact, she doesn't like them at all.

After they packed up their classrooms, stored the boxes according to the instructions we were given, and left for summer break the principal went into their classrooms, when through their boxes, and threw away things the principal felt they didn't need. Of course these things didn't belong to the school. They belonged to the teachers. This is truly harassment at its worst. I mean really, who does she think she is? She didn't call these women and ask them to remove their things, she didn't call them and tell them to come and help her. These two women were at home when this all happened! I just can't get over it. The two custodians refused to have anything to do with it. So, the principal and her over paid vice principal committed this act on their own.

What is the teaching profession coming too????

Blogger KatieFeldmom had this to say:

That totally sucks! I can't believe she would do such a thing .... oh wait, maybe I can believe that.

I'm so sorry that that happened. Is there anything the teachers can do?

I am a second grade teacher who also writes Space Science Curriculum for NASA. I am interested in hearing from other teachers who love Space Science and want to teach more science in their classrooms.
