Good day!
Today was a very good day for me. My class stepped up and did a great job. They drew wonderful pictures about peace. One little boy drew a picture of a house with a rainbow coming out of it. It was beautiful. He said, "That is the love coming out of my house from my mom and dad." He wrote, "Peace is loving my mom and dad." He actually brought tears to my eyes. Of course, that is not too hard to do.Thanks to Katiefeldmom for the Red, White, and Blue ribbon. Actually, I lifted it from her site. I thought is was a beautiful way to remember the close to 3,000 people who lost their lives five years ago yesterday. It was also my way of showing a moment of silence. I thought about them many times during the day. I figured that my students were only two when it happened and realized they didn't have a memory of that dark day. I am glad they can't remember it. However, I think the rest of us should never forget the real people who died on September 11, 2001. May they rest in peace.

Great post about 9/11.
Sending you an email about a get-together at my house on the 23rd. My aunts from NC will be here.
