Ice In The Solar System

What a great day! I just finished lesson 3, Ice in the Solar System! We have three lessons complete and one to go. The moon lesson. That should be fun.

The ice lesson is about the importance of finding water ice in the solar system. Where there is water ice, there could be some form of life. Huge concept for little kids. However, I hope we jumped that big hurdle. It feels good to have it out of my hair.

I had sent the ice reader down to the Jet Propulsion Lab to have one of our contacts there read it for scientific accuracy. Only one minor change was suggested. Change hot core to changing core. I can't believe I am getting this stuff down to pleasing the NASA scientists. That is a big deal in my life. I must say, they have all been very nice to all of us. They give us a lot of their time and care about our process. They have a lot of patience for us teachers.
